Police: Mom robbed bank, picked up kids
Louisville, CO, July 17 — Police in this Colorado town said they arrested a woman who allegedly robbed a bank and then picked her daughters up from elementary school on the way home.
Louisville police said Tina Anderson, 37, walked into the Barnett Bank branch at about 2:15 p.m. Monday and handed a teller a note demanding cash, The Louisville Ledger reported.
Anderson left with an undisclosed amount of cash and rode off in her car, police said. Investigators said she stopped on her way back home to pick up her two daughters from elementary school. A description of the car and its license plate by a witness led police to Anderson’s house, where she was arrested. The daughters were turned over to the Department of Human Services. Anderson was charged with second-degree robbery and first-degree theft.
